Erin’s Journey as a Mom in Recovery

When we fight the stigma surrounding substance use disorder (SUD), we support mothers building full, thriving lives—just like Erin.

As a mom in recovery from substance use disorder, Erin has faced stigma. But with the support of kind and understanding people, she’s pushed past judgment and found her path as a loving mother and caring community member.

Through recovery, Erin has learned she’s stronger than she thought. She’s in school to become a nurse, supports other women, and is a present, loving wife and mother. When we fight the stigma surrounding substance use disorder (SUD), we support mothers building full, thriving lives—just like Erin.
